WWE Announcers Pushing for Jim Ross to Be Brought Back

Word from sources within WWE is that announcers Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are pushing management to bring back WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross to the company's announce team. At last word, Cole and Lawler were pushing for J.R. to replace Matt Striker, who they are known to dislike, on pay-per-view broadcasts, but Vince McMahon and producer Kevin Dunn have been known to prefer youth (despite the fact that Lawler is three years older than J.R.), and they feel that the pay-per-view broadcast team should be limited to those who work WWE television shows.

I want JR back, but I do like Striker. Put JR back on Raw and move Cole back to SD.

Agreed. Something like Cole, Striker and JBL and JR and Punk

If anyone should be replaced on commentary, it's certainly not Striker. Make Cole Miz's manager and let Lawler and CM Punk do the commentary.

How long is Punk out for anyway?

I'd like a JBL and Cole reunion, that would be hilarious. Hell I'd take JBL being back with anyone really. JBL is God.

From what I read, Punk will be out untill sometime in Jan and they full expect him to be fully back before Mania.
I would love to hear JBL call SD, with Cole again. I always wanted to hear JBL call matches with JR, so that would also be awesome.
