Big Update: Original Sin Cara Sent Home, Finished w/Character?

PWInsider.com is reporting that following this week's WWE Smackdown taping at the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, company officials sat down with Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde, aka Mistico, who originally played Sin Cara, and decided to send him home.

It was then decided that going forward, Jorge Aria, aka Hunico in FCW, will now exclusively play the Sin Cara character.

While it is unknown at this time exactly why WWE decided to send home Alvirde, and it's also unknown whether or not he will be released from the company, it is worth noting that WWE had to re-shoot Alvirde's match against Heath Slater at the SD! tapings due to several botched spots during the bout.

I think it has more to do with the fact that he botched several spots in his matches moreso than the Wellness Policy violation. Hunico's been in developmental for quite some time and he's used to the WWE style now so it should go smoother. WWE can't afford to drop the character so they have to keep going with it.
