the commentator thread

WWF/E has had a lot of great commentators, from J.R. and King to JBL and Cole. Any notable favorites, any dream commentator teams? Are you a fan of Commenhatin' between King, Cole, and Matt Striker at PPVs?

I really liked Mike Adamle on ECW, he was absolutely terrible and I laughed hard every time he was on air. Also I really liked the smackdown commentary, going from Cole and Taz/JBL/Foley to Ross/Taz/JBL/Foley, they all had some memorable moments at the broadcast table.

Dream Announce team would be Barrett and JBL, two drawling, deep voiced, egotistical heels calling matches? Yes.

Definetly....you could also add Sheamus with his stupid accent, that would be awesome.

Who would I like to hear on commentary. As of right now, I want to hear CM Punk and Chris Jericho on commentary together. No idea why, but it just feels right.

Paul Bearer ... That shit would be insane!

Anywho, Ted Dibiase [The Original], JR and JBL.

I don't really have a dream Commentator Team. My favorite duo behind the broadcast booth was Good Ol' JR and Jerry "The King" Lawler so if WWE can somehow get these two guys back together again like they did on the Raw Old School's special, only without Michael Cole, I can die a happy man.

Nothing for me will ever beat the duo of Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan or Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse "The Body" Ventura. But since it's never gonna happen again, I'll settle for a return of JR and The King back together.

JBL and Joey Styles. That would be an interesting pairing.

Oddly enough, I think it would work. JBL's style works pretty much with any commentator.

I like Striker on comm.. . nuff said.

Last night on RAW....Lawler showed his true colours, when Edge was about to hit the spear on Swagger, Lawler went and said 'He is hearing those voices'....Which was stupid as Randy Orton hears voices!

Edge's character is fairly out there and very paranoid. I'm pretty sure I've heard other commentators say that he hears voices.

JBL and Joey Style's pairing would go like this...

JBL: SHUT UP YOU GEEK!

*Joey Falcon Punches JBL*

Joey: OH MY GOD!

Hmm... How about CM Punk & Good Ol' JR? I get a feeling that would work nicely.

Very nicely as i like both of them as comintators, plus there both faces.

CM Punk isn't... I think he just hates everyone equally.
