The Rock responded to the news on his Twitter, writing, "Sorry to hear this bro. 'Every set back, is a set up for a comeback' Stay strong & hope to see ya in Miami."
- According to Entertainment Weekly, Journey 3 is in the works and The Rock's Character Hank will be returning.
The third film will be based on the Jules Verne book From the Earth to the Moon. The article goes on to note that Journey 2 has outdone its original globally, and is set to cross the $275 million mark this week.
