And in Seige Norman Osborn who has officially become the most powerful man in America (political wise), and the power is going to his head, that coupled with the fact that Loki has been manipulating him has cause his Green Goblin persona to re-emerge. Norman then gathers a large meta human army and invade Asguard (which now resides in Oklahoma following Ragnarok). Anyway chaos ensures, little character development is made, the fighting is bland, the ending sucks and the Sentry gets raped by bad writing.

Norman Osborn being US's most powerful man just reminds me of when Lex Luthor became President of America. O_O And Asgard being in Oklahoma is just lulz.
How derailed was Sentry? I wasn't the biggest fan of him by a long shot, but I felt the idea of him being his own greatest enemy via The Void was a good one.

Yeah it's similar to that. Norman was put in charge of what is essentially SHIELD and made Iron Man an outlaw.
It was implied that the Sentry might be the reincarnation of the Christian/Jewish God or some other bullshit. He went batshit crazy lost control of the void, killed Loki. Then Iron Man hacked the SHIELD hallicarrier and used it as a bullet which weakened him enough to turn him back into his human form. He quickly changed back and Thor killed him then threw his body into the sun. Then they had a funeral for him where a lot of characters were written very out of character and a lot of past secrets were revealed and it was implied that the Sentry might return.
The Sentry. He's so fucking fucked up it's unfcking believeable.
Here's his powers...
Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, senses, and durability (potentially limitless) Energy projection and manipulation Matter manipulation Flight Telepathy Resurrection Healing Mental projection

Wow... lmfao. So even though he massacred, everyone mourns him as a hero at his funeral?
Jesus christ, that's godly. My problem with Superman was that he was always too much of a Marty Stu (perfect character who is never wrong, always wins, always has a trick up his sleeve etc.) for my liking, even when writers tried to give him flaws. Sentry's a major Stu too in terms of power as well... I mean, Christ.

But Supes is supposed to be the ultimate Marty Sue. That's his character. The writers should never attempt to fuck with his morals or beliefs. Sentry is a Villain Sue, cause he fucked shit up even before his end.

Animated series was great, Supes was toned down a bit, given an extra weakness (to electricity) and still did some awesome shit.
This scene from Justice League still makes me mark out.
2010 was better. But if they fix the bugs then 11 could take the title.

Krash if you want allies from the get go. A new character if you want to expand you ability to create and develope characters. Personally I love Krash though and think you should go with him, unless you have something in mind for a different character.
