Amid debate over whether ads for WWE Survivor Series should be taken to confirm The Rock will wrestle at the November pay-per-view, The Rock is certainly not doing much to dismiss the rumors.
The wrestler posted a mock graphic on his Twitter Friday, all-but-confirming an in-ring involvement at Survivor Series.
And, if The Rock's hint is to be taken seriously, it establishes plans for The Rock and John Cena to work the show as a tag team, just a few months before they headline WrestleMania 28 in a one-on-one match.
The graphic reads, "The Rock and John Cena join forces...Never Before. Never Again."
Insofar as WWE is resting hopes of a record WrestleMania buyrate on The Rock vs. John Cena, most were surprised WWE would even consider giving away The Rock's return match on Survivor Series.
But if it were going to do so, most assumed there was no way The Rock and Cena would be on opposite ends of the ring. The Rock's hint keeps that assumption alive.
