- The official website of the New Orleans Arena is advertising Edge for next month's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event taking place October 2: "Witness the Superstars of both Raw and Smackdown live under the same roof for a PPV extravaganza live event featuring: John Cena, Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, Edge, Rey Mysterio, John Morrison, The Big Show and many more Superstars live!"
- WWE has changed the structure of their creative staff with a "home team" and "road team" initiative. Road teams will travel to each week's television tapings while home teams will work at company headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut to develop future shows. WWE creative head Stephanie McMahon, a mother of three children, and Brian Gewirtz will reportedly stay at home to avoid going on the road on a weekly basis.
