- Alberto Del Rio defeated Christian in the main event at the SmackDown tapings in Charlotte, North Carolina to earn a World Heavyweight Title shot against Edge at WWE's Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
The World Heavyweight Title will be on the line in a Ladder Match.
Extreme Rules takes place on May 1st from the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida. There have been no RAW brand matches announced yet.
